Dr. Jane Wang is a prosthodontist who strives to find the best solution for each patient’s needs while providing the highest quality of care. She provides aesthetic restorations including fillings, veneers, Maryland bridges, crowns, bridges, full-arch implant bridges, removable dentures, and implant overdentures. Dr. Wang is passionate about providing a calm and soothing experience for all her patients. It always brightens Dr. Wang’s day when she sees her patient’s dental transformation!
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Wang enjoys mentoring dental students and is an associate clinical professor at the University of the Pacific, Dugoni School of Dentistry. She spends time teaching dental students about removable dentures, implants, and fillings. She is also involved in outreach programs serving the Veteran community and elderly community. Her research in Optical Coherence Tomography on fluoride’s effect on root caries has been published in the scientific journal “Diagnostics”. She is also a writer for the Elsevier PracticeUpdate website.
Dr. Wang received her certificate in prosthodontics from the University of California, San Francisco. She was selected as Chief Resident during her graduating year and was awarded by the Pacific Coast Society for Prosthodontics for her research presentation. She received her DMD from Tufts University and was awarded the Joseph E. Primack D’42 Endowed Prize in Prosthodontics. She also received a certificate in Advanced Education in General Dentistry from NYU Langone.
Dr. Wang has served on the San Francisco Dental Society Board of Directors and Professional Development Committee. She is currently on the Pacific Coast Society for Prosthodontics Foundation Board of Directors. She is a member of the Pacific Coast Society for Prosthodontics, American College of Prosthodontists, California Dental Association, American Dental Association, San Francisco Dental Society.
In her free time, Dr. Wang enjoys hiking with her partner and plans to visit all the National Parks one day! |
